FAQs
Virtual Coaching Partners is Jack Hammer Global's executive coaching division, delivered by GSI Coaching - connecting you with world-class coaches for the career and leadership moments that matter most.

What is the benefit of a leadership or career coach?
Whether you’re navigating a new leadership role, or struggling with a career ‘rut’, dealing with challenging stakeholders at work, trying to shift up the career ladder (or one of the many other ‘tricky’ professional moments on the work-life journey) - it’s tough to handle this on one’s own.
With a top quality coach – and the VCP coaches have been selected because they’re the best of the best – you’ll have the support of a qualified professional to help you to take charge and get where you want to be.
It’s like having a personal fitness trainer for your professional life. The results are always going to be better than doing it on your own!
What are the time commitments of a coaching package?
Each coaching session is approximately 60 - 90 mins. Sessions are ideally spaced 2-3 weeks apart, but this will depend on your own rhythm and availability.Pacing of sessions will be discussed with your coach.
If you select virtual sessions, these can be arranged before, after or during work hours, in discussion with your coach.
What if I don’t like my coach?
Prior to commencing your coaching programme, you will be offered an introductory ‘get to know you’ session. Our coaches have been selected because of their world-class credentials, so there is a very high likelihood that you will have a quality connection that is the right match for you. Remember, sometimes having a thinking partner who is quite different to you is just what you need to help you make the shifts you want.
But, we recognise that sometimes there’s just no ‘chemistry’. If there’s an absolute mis-match after your first coaching session, let us know and we will help you select a new coach.
How do I get started?
Once you have selected your coach, they will be notified and will contact you within 1-2 business days to set up your first coaching session.
During your first coaching session with your coach, you will discuss your coaching goals, challenges, opportunities, as well as the cadence of your upcoming sessions.
Your first session will also likely include some actual coaching – so be ready and open for a wonderful coaching journey.
It’s that simple!
